Australia in September is warm enough in the south (Melbourne, for example) and not yet humid in the north (Cairns, anyone?). Plus, early spring south of the equator means cheap flights, affordable accommodation, blooming flowers and superb scenery all over the country. At any time of year, it’s the only country in the world where you can see koalas and kangaroos in their natural habitat.
