London on film in 28 Weeks Later
28 Days Later was Danny Boyle’s 2002 film about a virus that quickly turns people uncontrollably violent and wipes out the population of the UK. A lot of the film was shot in London and used many of the capitals iconic locations. Now the sequel 28 Weeks Later is about to be released, directed by Spaniard Juan Carlos Fresnadillo, the story has the US Army restoring order and repopulating London when the virus reappears.
