Taste of London 2007

tastelondon.jpgIf you fancy a day sampling the best in food and wine this week’s Taste of London festival may be the place yuou should head for. Its on from 21-24 June at Marylebone Green in Regent’s Park and is organised by Channel 4.

Among the features of Taste of London 2007 are the F Word Live with chef Gordon Ramsay and his team from the successful Channel 4 show demonstrating how to make some delicious dishes, The Times Chefs’ Theatre has some of the most famous chefs in the UK such as Gary Rhodes, Michael Roux, Antonio Carluccio and Antony Worrall Thompson holding demonstrations, tutorials and Q&A sessions, the Wine Experience features a daily programme of wine tastings and tutorials, and Belgian brewer Leffe holds the Speciality Beer Masterclass with Master Beer Sommelier Marc Stroobrandt.

There’s a full programme on the Music Stage throughout the four days, you can sample Ports at the Cockburn’s Port Hole Lounge Bar, try the Champagne and Seafood Bar and see the UK and Ireland final of the Cocktail World Cup 2007. Altogether 50 selected restaurants are featured and their are 140 food and drink exhibitors.

Tickets for Taste of London are £21 and its open 12pm-4pm & 5.30pm-9.30pm 21-23 June, 11am-3pm & 4pm-8pm 24 June. the entrance to Taste of London is opposite Park Square Gardens on the Outer Circle of Regent’s Park.
