Meltdown Festival tickets on sale
Tickets go on sale tomorrow for this year’s Meltdown Festival taking place at the Royal Festival Hall in June. Meltdown started in 1993 and is unusual in that it allows a well known musician or artist to select the line up that performs during the Meltdown week.
In previous years David Bowie, Elvis Costello and Morrissey have curated the festival, this year its the turn of Pulp frontman Jarvis Cocker. Among the acts he’s chosen to perform are Motorhead, Iggy Pop, Cornershop, The Jesus and Mary Chain and Devo. There are many other acts and Jarvis Cocker will be performing himself and will also hold a Jarvis in conversation with Don Letts evening.
The Meltdown Festival runs from 16-23 June 2007 and ticket prices vary with who’s playing at a particular time.
