London Map Fair

maps.jpgThe London Map Fair is on this week from 8-9 June at the Olympia 2 exhibition centre in West London. The Map Fair brings together around forty dealers from the UK, US and Europe selling antique atlases, maps, sea charts, town plans, globes, topographical views, panoramas & prints.

Admission to the fair is free and they guarantee the maps and prints are genuine, and also say everyone is welcome even just to browse. Its open from 12 noon-7pm Fri, 10am-5pm Sat, Kensington Olympia on the District Line is the nearest Tube. If you’re looking for an old map to go on your wall and miss this fair, there’s always the market outside the National Film Theatre on the south bank under Waterloo Bridge which has stalls selling prints.
