British Airways’ “London for Free” Promotion: $498 Airfare + Hotel

British Airways just started a fabulous fall/winter promotion on a flight-hotel package from New York’s JFK airport. They’re calling it “London for Free,” and although you’ll still need a bit of spending money once you get there it’s still a great deal – especially when flights to England can be so expensive all by themselves.

The package includes round-trip airfare from JFK airport and two free hotel nights in one of a few specific hotels starting at just $498 per person. There are deals available from other airports in the U.S. where British Airways flies, but the lowest rates are from JFK. This sale price is only available through Thursday, August 19, 2010 at midnight, and it’s good for travel dates between October 21-December 19 of this year.

The hotels in this promotion include the Royal National, President, Jurys Heathrow, Central Park, Thistle Euston, Fraser Place Queens Gate, Hilton London Docklands and Kensington Close. The two free nights are based on double occupancy, so unfortunately solo travelers only get one free night. Note that the deal doesn’t include taxes and fees on the ticket, and a Saturday night stay is required.
